Bottesini’s Elegy no, 2, sometimes known as Romanza Drammatica, is one of Bottesini’s more lyrical compositions, and unlike many of his compositions is serious in character and not overtly virtuosic. In this new edition of the work by Bogusław Furtok, suggestions of fingerings and bowings are included to aid the performer in achieving the most lyrical style. Piano parts are available in both solo and orchestral tuning.
