Dvořák – Symphonie Nr.9, Op.95 2nd Movement

Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No.9 (‘From the New World’) is one of the most recognisable works of the nineteenth century and its themes were inspired by both Native American music and African-American spirituals. This arrangement, by Dominik Wagner, of the symphony’s second movement, incorporates all of Dvořák’s most lyrical moments into the format of the double bass quartet.
