Dvořák – Symphonie Nr.9, Op.95 2nd Movement

Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No.9 (‘From the New World’) is one of the most recognisable works of the nineteenth-century and its themes were inspired by both Native American music and African-American spirituals. This arrangement, by Dominik Wagner, of the symphony’s second movement incorporates all of Dvořák’s most lyrical moments into the format of the double bass quartet.
