Polish double bass player and teacher. She is a winner of several prestigious national music competitions (Gdańsk, Elbląg), she has also won the 1st Prize at the 10th International František Gregora Double Bass Competition in Kromĕriž (Czech Republic). Joanna is a Professor at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, she is also a principal double bass player of the Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra. Joanna has given masterclasses at the International Janowiec Music Master Course and since 2018 she has been the artistic director of the double bass workshop BassBaltica for young musicians.
